Final Grade: 78/100
This unit had a lot of flaws but despite that, I really loved teaching and designing this unit.
It holds a very dear place in my heart because this is the first time I tried to incorporate a mixture of modern and historical lesson material to produce a unit that had deep roots in history but also gave students the information and tools to grapple with modern injustice around the same themes. The lessons I created were flawed but this was the first unit I developed as a cohesive whole. Within this unit and set of lessons, I could have developed deeper essential and central historical questions. I could have also planned the juxtaposition better for the students to see the patterns and cycles more clearly.
