Oppression/Advocacy
In this unit, student-historians will engage in the comparison of advocacy in the 1800's and modern day. Students will be asked to look different examples of oppression and advocacy in 1800 and their modern equivalent, for example: early labor unions and modern day advocacy in Taiwan. This unit was a two week unit but we'll be looking at the first week.
